We are excited to launch new activities and strengthen ongoing initiatives. Recently, Željko Malic, Senior Officer for First Aid at the Slovenian Red Cross (SRC), presented the PiA Project to more than 30 secretaries from SRC’s local branches.
During the session, he highlighted the project’s main goals and objectives, including the implementation of pilot groups in several Slovenian elementary schools. This approach will help test health-promotion and non-communicable disease prevention activities directly with children and young people, involving teachers, families, and the wider school community.
This presentation marks another step forward in reinforcing prevention at the educational level and expanding the impact of the PiA Project across the region.
