First Milestone Achieved

Guidelines for Sudden Death Prevention Programme

The consortium has successfully completed and submitted its first
milestone: the “Guidelines for the Development of the Sudden Death
Prevention Programme.”

This milestone reflects a strong collaborative effort involving national and
international stakeholders from all five Red Cross National Societies —
Portugal, Spain, Italy, Slovenia, and Hungary — working together to build a
structured and impactful framework.

The objective of these guidelines is to support the development of an
evidence-based educational programme aimed at raising awareness and
knowledge in educational communities, particularly among children aged
10 to 18 and their teachers.

This marks an important step toward equipping young people and
educators with the tools they need to lead healthier, safer lives. More to
come soon!
