Global Advocacy Bootcamp

PIA Project team had the honor of taking part in the Global Advocacy Boot Camp on Noncommunicable Diseases (NCDs) in Humanitarian Settings, held at IFRC Headquarters in Geneva from May 5–7th.

This global gathering brought together representatives from humanitarian organizations, UN agencies, governments, and academia, united by a shared message:

NCD care cannot be overlooked in humanitarian crises. Ensuring prevention, treatment, and continuity of care is a matter of dignity, survival, and long-term peace.

PIA Project, co-funded by EU4Health, was invited to participate thanks to its active role in raising awareness about NCDs and their risk factors, including efforts conducted in vulnerable and humanitarian contexts.

We return from Geneva even more committed to our mission: to make NCD services accessible, resilient, and grounded in human rights. Because saving lives also means ensuring continuity, prevention, and quality care for all.
