As part of the Pilot Activities carried out across partner countries, the PIA Project has been testing and refining different methodologies to determine the most effective ways to teach young people about non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and diabetes.
In Portugal, several theoretical and practical approaches were tested to identify how best to deliver knowledge on NCDs and diabetes. This phase allowed the team to explore and compare different teaching methods, gaining valuable insights into what resonates most with students. These findings will directly inform the next phase — the full implementation of the PIA Project — where the most effective methodologies will be applied to strengthen awareness and promote healthier behaviours.
