As part of the Pilot Activities carried out across partner countries, the PIA Project has been testing and refining different methodologies to determine the most effective ways to teach young people about non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and diabetes.
The pilot activities in Slovenia were carried out in collaboration with the Slovenian Red Cross, where awareness sessions on NCDs and diabetes were delivered to a group of 41 students. Various methodologies were tested to understand how young people engage with the content and which tools best support learning. The results gathered in Slovenia add an important dimension to the project’s evaluation, helping to shape a more effective and
evidence-based implementation strategy.
More activities are on the way — stay tuned as we continue to put #PreventionInAction across Europe.
